Need some design inspiration? I know I do! Wild about color? I know I am, which is why I have taken it upon myself to bring you some wild, fun, over the top, design inspiration!
When I need some inspiration or a moment to be “brainless,” I love to browse the web for design inspiration photos. However, there is one slight problem. After awhile, all the inspirations photos just seem to blur together. Neutral walls, neutral furniture, distressed furniture, barn wood, white, white, white, blah, blah, blah. While I understand the current trends, they don’t necessarily get my creative wheels turning. I don’t know about you, but for me, my best inspiration comes from the oddities, the vibrant color, the eccentric character. So lets take a walk on the wild side, shall we!
First stop,

Excuse me while I wipe the drool off my face! This vibrant room is amazing! The vibrant ceiling, pops of amethist and turquoise, and playful patterns all scream to be noticed. Sure the walls are neutral but who cares! All the vibrant jewel tones and patterns save this space from the mundane. This designer and client took a big ol ‘ leap out of the box and landed on mega inspiration.
Moving on!

This is one way to rescue your stairwell from the oridinary and it sure beats the over done picture gallery wall. I love the contrast between the white traditional railing and the bright, quirky mural. It adds depth, color, and interest without being overwhelming!
Then there is this!

This is definitely not something you will see everyday. Would you be brave enough to paint you walls this interesting shade of yellow green? I love how the designer pulled off the whimsical confidence and boldness of this space. The red credenza, paired with the painted beadboard and quirky pig painting makes me want to get creative!
Still want more? Here are few more photos that grabbed my attention and got my creative design wheels turning. From playful patterns and bright beautiful colors, these photos are sure to light the fire of inspiration!
