Helloooooo anndd weeelllcommmmee to the house of the LEHMANNSS! Well, really just the living room but welcome just the same. This is the final week of Deck the Home Blog Hop and the big reveal of the project I have been working on for this weeks theme; home decor!

I decided to share with you my boho living room Christmas decor!

My living room is an electic boho mix, so I wasn’t quite sure how I was going to decorate it this year. My husband had hung a large beach scene wall mural over the summer that had a mix of  pinks, blacks, and oranges. My usual Christmas decor style is very rustic with lots of reds and golds, so I knew that I would have to come up with something totally different this year.

I had to take a trip to At Home to pick up a few things for a client and stumbled across some tree ornaments that were perfect for my living room! They were a mix of blush pinks , silver, and blues. And it was only $12 for a large container! So I scooped them up and based the rest of the decor off the ornaments.

I would reuse a few things like our white lights, lighted garland, brass deer, a large hurricane lamp and a decorative wreath (that I used as a coffee table center peice).

I made a quick trip to the Dollar Tree and picked up some magnolia flowers to hang on the tree, two blush pink votives and some white bottle brush trees. I also found two gold stairs that would work perfectly on my gallery wall behind my couch. I spent a whopping $13.

I also needed a new tree skirt, but couldn’t find on in the right colors, so I improvised with a $5 blanket from 5 Below. I also found two $5 pillows at 5 Below that went perfectly with the scheme, so I purchased those as well.

We always get a live tree from our neighbor down that road, but this year they were closed for the season. So, because we were pressed for time we had to get a tree from Lowes. I wasn’t overly impressed with the selection or the prices, but what’s a girl to do?!

I won’t bore you with how I decorated the room, I’ll just leave the pictures right here so you can see for yourself! I apologize for the quality of the pictures, but photography is NOT my forte.  It has also been overcast and rainy, so I was doomed. BUT,  hope you enjoy!

    Jessica:

I just love how you made magic for such a reasonable price. It’s very inspiring and your pictures reflect that a child’s wonder and delight is all that really matters.

I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas!
