Choosing a color palette is like a two edged sword. There are so many choices and variations of colors that at times it can be more than overwhelming, but on the other hand, it can also be very exciting. The options are endless, the sky’s the limit!
I often get clients who are afraid of color, and when I say afraid, I actually mean PETRIFIED! So, as I share with you April’s Color Palette, let me reassure you. Color is smart, color is kind, color is important, COLOR is your FRIEND!

In this particular palette, soft gray would grace the walls ( ideally with a distressed brick accent wall). However, since most of you probably do not have a distressed brick wall like I have pictured, I would also suggest this: Choose an accent wall (first wall you see when you walk into the room) and paint blue with a gray or purple undertone, or if you are feeling adventurous, paint it FUSCHIA! Paint all remaining walls soft gray- preferably with blue or purple undertones. To pull all the colors together, accent with the mustard yellow, fuchsia, and blue accessoires. Adding some natural elements such as wood and copper will also help pull the colors together as well as add a little texture and depth to the space. You could also add a pop of color to your ceiling, mustard yellow anyone?!
