Every year around Christmas time, my parents would load up all six of my siblings and I into our rickety old van, and head out to look at Christmas lights. Those moments spent with my family have become some of my fondest childhood memories. We would all laugh and point and be amazed at all the beautiful outdoor Christmas decorations. It was a wonderful time spent with our family and really got us into the Christmas spirit. I never really lost my love of driving around looking at outdoor Christmas decorations. I plan to keep on carrying on that wonderful childhood tradition with my own children.

As much as I love looking at outdoor Christmas decorations, you would think my own home would be decked out with lights upon lights, decorations upon decorations.

Buuuutttt NOPE! I don’t know why but I really struggle when it comes to decorating outdoors for Christmas. I never know what I want to do and when I find something I like, it is usually too expensive to buy. So year after year, we never decorate outside except for a MAYYYBBEE a few measly Christmas lights.

However, this year changed. We decorated our porch for Christmas and plan on hanging a few lights too!
